Jackson Kelly

Defense Attorney

Jackson Kelly is an attorney at Crabtree & Patterson, P.C. He earned his law degree from the Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to joining the firm, Jackson worked under Circuit Judge of the 16th District, James A. Turner, where he developed a passion for the courtroom and defending the accused. His practice focuses on DUI and criminal defense, orders of protection, custody matters, and restoration of Constitutional rights.

Jackson is a native of Martin, Tennessee, where he developed a strong work ethic by launching and operating his own lawn care business at the age of eleven—a venture he maintained until college. He graduated college from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering.

While completing his undergraduate degree, Jackson discovered a passion for law and gained his first legal experience at the Public Defender’s Office for the 27th Judicial District of Tennessee. During law school, he built on this foundation at the District Attorney’s Office for the 16th Judicial District, he worked at Ortale Kelley in civil litigation, and public policy at the Tennessee Firearms Association.

Jackson chose to make Cookeville, Tennessee, his home, with his wife, Mikayla, and is proud to serve the community alongside his family. Jackson’s clients love his good nature, the level of attention he provides to their case, the never-give-up approach to his work, and his advocacy in the courtroom.

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kelly, throughout the process he stayed in touch and worked strategically in getting my DUI dismissed. I would highly recommend this firm and choosing Mr. Kelly for your needs. The entire team worked diligently towards my case and continue to provide advice. I cannot stress enough about how professional this team has been while also providing me moral support. There is no wonder why this firm is the best rated in Cookeville. My only advice is to let the team do their work and trust them throughout the process and give them their space to put in their inspiring work ethics.

Jackson took our case even though it was one of those very rare, practically unheard of cases. Lucky for us, he had a little experience in the matter.. We were hopeful but knew the chances of things going our way were slim. But, Jackson did his thing and the judge ruled 100% on our side. A burden that hung over us for years was finally a thing of the past and we can move on. Jackson we are so thankful you came to Cookeville when you did! We’re positive no one else could have pulled this off!
